On April 9, 2011, you have an opportunity to participate in a church event called Spring Fling, the Auction Thing, a church event that brings church members together for a different kind of event - a service-oriented auction. A lot of work goes into this activity and that’s where you come in. Soliciting donations, picking up donations, organizing donations, displaying them, all the data processing to keep things straight, keeping the money straight, organizing the very important food, providing entertainment for the very important children while the parents snap up bargains - and check with anyone who was there last year: what bargains there are to be had! Last year’s auction was a great success, from Bunco to babysitting. Our wonderful auctioneers from last year will be back bringing more of their fun and fast paced bidding
