April joined the congregation in 2007, after looking for a spiritual home for herself and Brady, her son. She has a BA in English and History from Virginia Tech, with a minor in Political Science. She has been a corporate leadership trainer for the past eight years, and is passionate about training and learning in general.

April enjoys running, reading, music, movies, anything outdoors, and hanging out with her son and the numerous pets in their house.

April works part-time, 10 hours per week from home. She will return all calls and emails during the week, Tuesday through Friday.
