Pat became a member of the First UU Staff in September, 2009. In addition to the full time responsibilities of Director of Membership, she is a full time student at Capella University, and plans to enroll to begin study for UU Ministry at Meadville Theological School in the fall of 2010. Past experience includes a 22 year career in the US Air Force and Virginia Air Guard, production control in the automotive industry, and most recently, a product data specialist at the Defense Supply Center.

Pat is originally from Altavista, VA and is the youngest of four children. She claims to have learned to fish before she walked, and on a recent family fishing trip off Cape Hatteras, NC, caught an eight foot white marlin. Pat lives in Richmond city with her partner Christina. They enjoy outdoor activities, cooking, and are employed as support staff for their four cats.
