The purpose of the Committee on Mission (COM) is to foster the church mission to “Grow, Care, and Act.” We want to understand the many ways our mission is carried out by individuals, groups, and the congregation as a whole, and to recognize factors that strengthen or weaken that work. We promote open and direct conversation, conflict resolution, and problem solving.

Our activities have included:

• Biennial surveys of the congregation
• Development of the CHALICE Covenant
• Conversations with church committees and staff
• Collaboration on the Vision project
