In promoting the mission, some of our objectives are listening to congregants when they have concerns about the church, employing conflict resolution when needed, and communicating with the Board and Senior Minister our observations.  The COM encourages communication and discussion and anyone who has feedback about the church is invited to speak with any member of the COM.  Be assured that we will honor you and everything you say with confidentiality. 

This year one of our greatest tasks will be helping to create a Congregational Covenant.  The covenant will be a framework of expectation as to how we will relate to each other in our church.  It is made up of our shared values and will draw on the best of what we were, what we are, and what we can be.  All congregants will be able to participate in its creation so look for ways to get involved.  Our goal is to bring this document before the congregation at the 2011 annual meeting for final approval.

We recognize that ministry is the responsibility of the entire congregation and will encourage all congregants in that pursuit. We encourage feedback – comments, criticisms, AND congratulations – to better support our church and its mission.    The COM looks forward to hearing from you!
