Lifespan Religious Education

Welcome to the Lifespan Religious Education (LRE) program at First Unitarian Universalist Church of Richmond. We hope that you will want to participate in the many activities offered. We are dedicated to providing a welcoming, all-inclusive, consistent program. We strive to make it a place people will choose to attend because it is inviting, enjoyable, and enriching. We recognize and respect individual differences and understand that we learn from one another and are nourished and enriched by one another.

The LRE program offers an engaging variety of learning experiences for each age and stage of life – nursery through adult.  It is grounded in the values represented by the Statement of Principles adopted by the congregations of the UUA.

The principles have been adapted into the Rainbow Principles for the children and youth of the program, which are divided by age and grade into separate classes that are appropriate to their developmental needs and abilities. If you would like your children and youth to participate, fill out a registration form.

To better utilize classroom and meeting space, many LRE classes are now offered in the lower level of the church. We will be happy to relocate classes if needed. Let us know if you have a special need.

We have released our Winter-Spring 2013 Religious Education Programming Catalog. Email Rhonda Wingfield if you have any questions about a class.
