Radical Commitment of the Heart

Is there room in you to make strong , bold and radical commitments? We begin our series on the Seven Principles of Unitarian Universalism by examining our First Principle. Our Principle will be proven by our Celebration Sunday.
The Nursery will be open 9:45-12:45 to serve those three years old and under. They will be greeted with open arms and engaged in gentle play. A snack of Cheerios will be offered; however, if there are allergy concerns, please provide your own snack.
RELIGIOUS EDUCATION CLASSES
10:00 AM (Pre-K through Grade 3) and 11:30 AM (Pre-K through Grade 12)

Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten: The Spirit Play story is “Crow Boy”, a Japanese tale about how everyone has their own unique, but perhaps hidden, talents.
Grades 1-3: The lesson is “Caring for All.” It includes a Buddha story called “The Dog and the Heartless King” about how all people should be treated well.
Grades 4-5: The lesson is about Daniel Chester French, a Unitarian who sculpted the Lincoln Memorial.
Grades 6-8: The Coming of Age lesson is “Connected to the Natural World.” The students will discover their spiritual connection to the natural world while on an off-site retreat.
Grades 9-12: The lesson is “Dr. Who”, which will explore the theology of pop culture by examining the long running British sci-fi series.
