First Unitarian Universalist Richmond – Notice of Annual Meeting

The First UU Church of Richmond Board of Directors has agreed to hold the Annual Meeting of the congregation on Sunday, June 8, 2025 after worship at approx 11:15 am.  (Childcare will be available.)  This is the meeting notice that our bylaws require be sent at least 28 days ahead of the congregational meeting. Our agenda will include the election of officers, board and committee members, the approval of a budget for the July 2025 through June 2026 church year, and an update on our congregation’s Ends.

We will hold an in-person discussion of the budget on Sunday, June 1 immediately following worship.  We’ll keep the meeting short so everyone can join the Auction celebration.  The proposed budget will be shared with the congregation via email on that date as well.

We will conduct the annual meeting in person and via the ZOOM platform. There will be a ZOOM link to participate, but we would love to have you attend in person.  We will do our best to conduct this meeting consistent with our past practices, but in a hybrid format. The quorum requirement for us to conduct business is 10 percent of our membership, so please participate on June 8 if you are able.
