Mark Your Calendar: UUCC Play Readers Present “A Little Piece of Heaven”

“A Little Piece of Heaven” – A presentation for all ages by the UUCC play readers.

Get ready for an evening of warmth, laughter, and poignant discovery as the UUCC Players perform a staged reading of the charming comedy-drama, “A Little Piece of Heaven” by Matthew Carlin!

Have you ever stepped into one of those out-of-the-way shops that sell antiques, collectibles, and interesting bits of life? And maybe the shop has something special for everyone, including you. This play is about one such shop, the owners (Henry and Elizabeth), and the patrons.

The story follows characters who stumble upon items that seem to perfectly and mysteriously resonate with their life stories and long-lost memories. At the heart of the play is an unlikely, developing friendship between a restless biker named Michael and a sassy, elderly regular named Lily.

Come watch as suspicion turns to respect and long-lost things (and sometimes, long-lost hope) are finally found! This heartwarming dramedy is sure to leave you feeling a little happier and more connected.
