Dogwood Spirit Circle CUUPS Workshop

Dogwood Spirit Circle is an Earth Centered-Pagan Spirituality Group at First UU. We started our group in January 2017 and became a CUUPS Chapter in February 2020. CUUPS stands for Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans.

The mission of the Dogwood Spirit Circle is to provide a safe and welcoming space for all to learn and practice Earth-centered spirituality in peace, openness, and compassion. We adhere to the seventh tenet of the Unitarian Universalist principles, to have “respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.” Welcoming to all paths, we honor and help our community find joy in ourselves, our connection with the Earth, and each other as we celebrate the Divine in its limitless forms.

Pagan Day Out will be an every-other-month community service to Evergreen Cemetery, cleaning up the overgrown old Afro-American cemetery. (Weather permitting.)

A calendar of events is posted quarterly on the Facebook page and sent out via email. Reminders sent out monthly.

Jewish Lives of UU

Were you raised in the Jewish faith?  Do you have interest in learning about one of our oldest religions and how it can relate to life and practice at First UU?  Join us on the first Monday of each month for conversation on Jewish theology, traditions, and open discussion of our own faiths as it relates to our relationship with Judaism.  In this group, we will cover the Torah, religious texts, rabbinical teachings, media representation, our own spiritual journeys, and anything else that comes up.
