Our First UU Board has been working with Churches for Middle East Peace to help us, as a congregation, navigate conversations around Palestine and Israel. This work stems from a call from our Committee on Shared Ministry to engage more courageously and live more fully into our Shared Values on this topic.

We envision these conversations as opportunities to learn, listen, and share with openness and curiosity.  For these conversations, we will establish shared norms to help us engage with each other as community members seeking deepened connection and awareness.  We believe these conversations may be difficult at times - and we also see them as the sacred work of building beloved community.
