Constructed to help us live more deeply into our Mission, End Statements serve as goals for our congregation. Based on values expressed from multiple sources, these statements can help guide committees, individuals, staff members, and leaders to facilitate our efforts to build beloved community.

The following End Statements have a focus on the next 1-2 years. We strive for this to be a living document that continues to evolve. As charged in our By-Laws, the Board will review and update annually, seeking ongoing input from the congregation.
The Board’s vision is for our congregation to take collective responsibility for meeting our End Statements. Embracing Shared Ministry includes acts of mutual love, respect, and service. We will support each other in fulfilling our mission in meaningful ways and join with the wider community in working for justice and compassion.

As a congregation we will work together in shared ministry to:

• We actively build a spiritual community where we are all responsible for sharing our time, talents, and resources with kindness and faith.
• We welcome all who seek a beloved community that nourishes spiritual growth.
• We share accountability for helping each other to thrive and find belonging.
• We act with generosity and gratitude and help everyone find reasons to contribute and be thankful.

• We seek formal and informal ways for individuals, families, and groups to challenge the injustices in our world.
• We work to heal racism, oppression, climate harm, and other injustices, whether they are new or long-standing.
• We engage in meaningful relationships with those impacted by discrimination and oppression.

• We commit to the ethical stewardship of our resources, viewing it as a sacred trust.
• We evolve our understanding of the needs of our community by following the lead of our children and young adults.
• We safeguard the future with thoughtful resource management and long-term planning.

• We intentionally center Love in all that we do.
• We amplify our growing energy and vibrancy.
• We build, sustain, and celebrate resilience in our communities.
