UUA General Assembly: Serve as a Delegate
UUA General Assembly (GA) is the annual gathering of Unitarian Universalists from across the country. It is where we come together to worship, learn, build relationships, and take part in the democratic decision-making that helps shape the future of our faith. This year’s theme is Meet the Moment: Together Everywhere.GA will take place in two parts, with a midweek pause designed to support accessibility and participation:
Sunday, June 14–Tuesday, June 16: Fully virtual General Sessions focused on the business of the Association.
Friday, June 19–Sunday, June 21: Worship, featured speakers, and Meet the Moment–themed programming, available online, at the studio site in Louisville, or in participating local congregations.
This flexible model makes GA more accessible, sustainable, and connected for Unitarian Universalists everywhere.
Why It Matters
As a delegate, you help carry our congregation’s voice into the wider life of our faith. Delegates vote on important decisions that shape the future of the UUA, including bylaws, social justice commitments, and study/action issues. Beyond the business of the Association, GA offers powerful worship, engaging workshops, and meaningful connections with UUs from across the country.
Serving as a delegate is an opportunity to engage deeply with the future of Unitarian Universalism—and to bring back fresh insight, renewed energy, and new ideas to strengthen our congregation.
If you are interested in serving as a delegate, we would love to hear from you. Please contact Rev Sherman.
