UUA GENERAL ASSEMBLY
JUNE 14 – 21, 2026
MEET THE MOMENT: TOGETHER EVERYWHERE
GA 2026 is designed as a primarily virtual experience, with optional ways to gather through community gatherings, and First UU Richmond is offering our own little satellite site. We’ve reserved rooms for the business sessions and and for the workshops in the latter part of the week. You can view the whole schedule here on the UUA website. if you want to be together with others, c’mon in!
If you are registered as a Delegate, please plan to bring your own device for voting purposes. We’ll have some light snacks, and invite you to bring your own as well.
What Is General Assembly?
UUA General Assembly (GA) is the annual gathering of Unitarian Universalists from across the country. It is where we come together to worship, learn, build relationships, and take part in the democratic decision-making that helps shape the future of our faith. This year’s theme is Meet the Moment: Together Everywhere.
GA will take place in two parts, with a midweek pause designed to support accessibility and participation:
Sunday, June 14–Tuesday, June 16: Fully virtual General Sessions focused on the business of the Association.
Friday, June 19–Sunday, June 21: Worship, featured speakers, and Meet the Moment–themed programming, available online, at the studio site in Louisville, or in participating local congregations.
This flexible model makes GA more accessible, sustainable, and connected for Unitarian Universalists everywhere.
Why It Matters
As a delegate, you help carry our congregation’s voice into the wider life of our faith. Delegates vote on important decisions that shape the future of the UUA, including bylaws, social justice commitments, and study/action issues. Beyond the business of the Association, GA offers powerful worship, engaging workshops, and meaningful connections with UUs from across the country.
Serving as a delegate is an opportunity to engage deeply with the future of Unitarian Universalism—and to bring back fresh insight, renewed energy, and new ideas to strengthen our congregation.
