UUA 2026-27 Common Read | Love at the Center

Love at the Center: Unitarian Universalist Theologies is this year’s UUA Common Read. This book is a collection of essays and reflections offered as a response to the Article II Study Commission and the final adopted language of Article II of the UUA Bylaws. The updated language articulates our shared values of Justice, Transformation, Pluralism, Generosity, Interdependence, and Equity, all centered around and grounded in Love.

Along with its selection as this year’s Common Read comes a lovingly designed curriculum of resources from the UUA, including a framework for 5 sessions of exploration of the book’s 29 essays. These will be organized within a “Rings of Love” model, allowing us to investigate how “Love’s call moves through every part of our lives.”

Our five virtual sessions will be facilitated by Rev. Anna Tulou and Leigh Ann Luscan on Saturdays from 10am-Noon. You are invited to attend one, a few, or all five sessions, however they best fit into your schedule and life.
