JUSTICE DEMANDS RISC

Adhering to our principle of valuing the democratic process, we encourage participation in our local, state, and national government, from actions as simple as yard signs and postcards, to voting, to running for elected office.

We support actions of social justice with funds through our Share The Plate program.

Prison Justice

VICPP and the Virginia Consensus for Higher Education in Prison (www.vchep.org) are planning this convening to learn and strategize how to increase access to education for our neighbors who are incarcerated. Hear from panelists with lived experience in higher education, re-entry, and the justice system. Discover what advocacy is already underway, and how you can get involved in the continued work of extending pathways of opportunity to all who need it. Light refreshments will be provided, and you will end the night with next steps and a clearer picture of how to make Virginia a better place.
